Policy
Luminoso Technologies, Inc. (the “Company”) expects all employees to conduct themselves in an appropriate and professional manner at all times while on Company premises, on Company business, or while interacting with employees, clients, consultants, etc. of the Company. Conduct which adversely affects the interests or safety of other employees, customers or Company property is prohibited at all times.
We promote freedom of expression and open communication, but we expect all employees to follow our code of conduct. Employees should avoid offending and disrupting the workplace. We also expect them to foster a respectful and collaborative environment.
Prohibited Conduct
Listed below are examples of some conduct that may result in immediate disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of employment. This list is not exhaustive and does not limit the Company’s right to discipline in whatever manner it deems appropriate, up to and including termination, depending upon management’s assessment of the severity of the conduct.
Conduct which may lead to immediate disciplinary action includes:
- Violation of Company workplace policies including without limitation violation of Luminoso’s anti-harassment policy or retaliation against an employee for reporting such harassment
- Unsatisfactory job performance
- Insubordination and/or failure to follow policies or instructions
- Indecent or offensive language or conduct on Company business
- Verbal or physical abuse towards any employee, including bullying or creating a hostile workplace
- Reporting to work under the influence of alcohol or drugs or attempting to buy or sell, illegal goods or services on Company time
- Damage to Company property or to the property of another employee
- Absence from work without appropriate and prompt notification
- Excessive tardiness, absenteeism or abuse of time off which creates performance issues
- Theft of Company or client property or theft of the property of another employee, including cash, checks, or check, credit card and other personal information belonging to clients or other employees
- Falsification of documents, including but not limited to, job applications, resume, expense reports or other employment or work documents, whenever such conduct is discovered
- Other fraudulent or dishonest conduct
If you have a good-faith belief that you have witnessed or become aware of inappropriate or prohibited conduct by another employee, you should report the incident immediately to your manager, the CEO and/or Human Resources. The matter will be taken seriously and it will be investigated as discreetly and confidentially as possible.
