Concept-Based Volume Coloring in Daylight

We’ve introduced a new option to enhance the Volume visualization in Daylight by utilizing Concept colors.

• The Volume bar can now display in the assigned Concept color when available.
• If a Concept doesn’t have a color, the default color will be used.
• A new “Display in Concept color” checkbox has been added at the bottom of the Configure Visualization panel.
• The option is disabled by default but can be enabled for a more intuitive visual representation.

This update provides a clearer and more visually distinct way to analyze Concept volumes.

Concept Summarization in Dashboard Widgets

We’ve introduced advanced concept summarization across four key dashboard widgets, providing deeper insights into sentiment trends and concept shifts. Users can click on a concept to dynamically update summaries and explore related document samples.

1. Concept Summarization in “Volume” Widget
   • Selecting a concept displays a summary of how it is discussed across documents.
   • Sample documents below the summary provide supporting context.
     
     
2. Concept Summarization in “Largest Concept Movement” Widget
   • Now includes a Baseline Summary, detailing how the concept was discussed.
   • A Comparison Summary highlights changes in sentiment, topic focus and discussion trends over time.
   • Users can explore Baseline and Comparison Documents for additional context.
     
     
     
3. Concept Summarization in “Largest Net Sentiment Movement” Widget
   • Provides a Baseline Summary explaining how the concept was discussed.
   • A Comparison Summary highlights shifts in sentiment, key discussion points and emerging themes.
   • Users can review Baseline and Comparison Documents to see examples of evolving sentiment.
     
     
     
4. Concept Summarization in “Sentiment Share” Widget
   • Clicking a concept reveals positive and negative sentiment summaries based on user discussions.
   • Document samples illustrate how sentiment is distributed, offering deeper insights.
